Sally Kindberg out and about in Bermondsey

To the Fashion and Textile Museum in Bermondsey to enjoy a riot of colour on a grey day.  It was the last day of the Kaffe Fassett exhibition. Loved the quilt (see below) by Kim McLean inspired by mid nineteenth century Baltimore quilts. Enjoyed Fassett’s annotated colour charts probably more than the finished work, it was fascinating to see the creative process.  Afterwards spotted an early bumble bee fossicking in a nearby flower stall.
