Sally Kindberg and more workshops

Last week I was asked back to Canterbury University of the Creative Arts again to give a talk about my work and run a workshop, this time with about fifty BAs.  My train was late as there was an ‘incident’ on the line, so the event was super busy, with lots of good ideas emerging from students’ four frame visual narratives in a short period of time.  Sadly I have no photo reference for their inventive stories, only a picture of the Hat of Surprise, which had been full of simple written prompts.  Later I discovered a few prompts from another workshop altogether – when making a Map of Magic with children in a walled garden at the 2017 Ledbury Poetry Festival – had got caught in the torn lining at the bottom of the hat.  The hat had made its own magic?
