Sally Kindberg’s comic strip Space workshop at Primrose Hill School, London

Great fun to be asked to Primrose Hill School in north London, where my daughter went many years ago, and run a comic strip Space workshop with Year 4s. We had a look at The Comic Strip History of Space and did some interactive drawing.  The children were all in excellent Earthling disguises – some of them claimed to be visitors from Mars and other planets.  Wonderful atmosphere as we discussed possibilities of alien life forms and what they might look like, and how visiting Earthlings might be received on other planets, as well as Earthling reactions to possible sightings of aliens and UFOs.  Here are some of the many inventive comic strip results from a very happy and productive day. And an emailed comment from Paul Campbell, head of the school: ‘the day was a total success, all learnt a great deal and enjoyed themselves immensely.’  Hooray!
