The doors opened to a rush of families at saturday’s Big Draw at the Guardian event – a wonderful busy and buzzy day with families at my Monster comic strip table, surrounded by creative magic from David Page, Alex Leadbeater, Mike Challenger, Lawrence Zeegen, Jane German, Otto Dettmer and many other amazing artists. Mike Challenger composed an off-the-cuff musical score to be performed on the escalators (as you do) for the visiting clarinetist and violinist, and a masked monster arrived from Andrew Logan‘s workshop. Not enough time … and I wanted to join in and do the other workshops too.
