WELCOME TO SALLY KINDBERG'S WEBSITE! ![]() Artist and author Sally Kindberg has a vast experience of working on books and features, and running drawing workshops for both children and adults in venues as far apart as China and Shetland. She recently drew comic strips for a 4-book Bloomsbury series, including the History of Space. As her childhood ambition to be an astronaut has not (yet) been realised, she explored the outer galaxies by drawing them. During Sally's time as a travel writer, she wrote and illustrated an Independent on Saturday column for a year, sailed on a Tall Ship to Lisbon, and attended Elf School in Iceland. She is currently writing/illustrating another children’s book series for Bloomsbury called Draw It!, working on the Short and Unlikely History of Sally Kindberg in graphic narrative form, and assembling a Dust Museum. Recent exhibitions: Meeting Mr Punch (London 2012) Cartoon Correspondence (Shetland 2012 and London 2013) Interview and freelance advice on the Writers & Artists' website.
